Camera Mount

25 Mar

Here’s a look at the camera mount on the Slow Stick plane. It is made of aluminum stock from Lowes, with a couple of knurled brass knobs that let you adjust the downward angle. The current set up is with the camera facing sideways, so you shoot as you fly past the subject. The current camera is an older Nikon S550, which has a servo hot-glued to it to activate the shutter. You flip a switch on the transmitter and the plane tells the camera, “Hey…  take a picture!”
